Entre la mirada y la palabra. Taller de creación escénica
March 25
Venue: Rehearsal Hall
3 Phases: 25th – 31st March; 7th – 16th June; 28th June – 2nd July
This creative stagecraft workshop is designed to begin and develop a process of work whose final objective is a scenic piece. The process will be individual; that is to say, each participant will develop his/her own ideas. As each process will have its own particular requirements, the objective will not be to complete the piece, but rather to initiate the creative process.
The workshop is designed for:
A) Artists with preparation in writing, theatre, dance, plastic arts and visual arts.
B) Persons with training in artistic thought (history, philosophy etc.)
The workshop will be made up of three periods of work, over three months.
The course of the workshop will be individual to each of the participants. Participants are expected to work for the complete three month duration of the course, meeting personally during the three work periods and completing tutorials via Internet in the remaining time.
Number of participants: Eight. The selection process will be based on CVs submitted by the candidates, accompanied by an outline of the project they wish to pursue during the workshop. If previous work on the proposed project exists, candidates may include such material in their application. Candidates are advised to be as concrete as possible in their proposals.
