El agujero en el muro
(Collective urban narration project in the city of Gijón)
Del 7 al 16 de abril
Venue: The city of Gijón.
This activity is organized in collaboration with the Escuela de Trabajo Social de Gijón.
This project is a collective urban narration which aims to take the streets of Gijón and turn them into a communications laboratory.
Divided into two phases, a workshop and an urban project, this collective narrative will involve young citizens of the city. The project aims to develop linguistic and cultural categories, traditionally seen as diametrically opposed: from the review to the thriller, from the science fiction of our daily lives to social protest, esotericism or advertising. Each individual vision, expressed in a defined graphic style, will take up conversation with the rest, thus shaping an eclectic path, progressive and site related, which will both unite and confront them.
El agujero en el muro aims to use the street as a space for performance and dialogue, to open up areas of ambiguity and mystery, to give opinions without the bounds of discretion or pre-established norms, and to experiment with everyday life.
In short, this is a public adventure, designed to create controversy, to debate, to stimulate; to bring together not only artists, designers, street writers and graffiti artists, but also citizens from every walk of life.
