Teatro de la Laboral

The ability to watch, to see, to retain; the theatre has always been a place of intimate reflection. There is a chance, one of many, that a physical and visual contact might occur between the spectator and the actor. Thus, we must develop the capacity to become actors within the public space in which we live.

Which space do we choose from all of the audience to maintain contact with? We develop the ability to watch, to be quiet, to observe. Each individual makes his choice even from his place among the crowd.

Enrolment: €40 (€15 for card-carrying Students and Staff of ESAD–Gijón, E.U. Jovellanos and CIFP La Laboral)
Places are Limited: This workshop is limited to 20 persons with interest in this area of study.

Miguel Moreira
After studying Arts and Showbusiness Moreira began his collaboration with Teatro O Bando in 1996, and founded the Asociación Cultural de Teatro Útero in 1997.

As well as having wide teaching experience, he has worked with stage directors such as As Maminhas de Tirésias, Nós and Appolinaire. Since then he has directed 1999! and Pénis Volador, Último Verao, Homeless, Na Rua, Parede, as well as De um Lado Oculto, with Bibi Gomes.
Currently, Miguel Moreira is working on Rui Horta’s latest piece, Talk Show, which will be presented at the Teatro de la Laboral in February, 2010.
