This is a series of meetings and gatherings of school children from all over Asturias. The children are invited to participate as active spectators, to observe and to evaluate the films they view, and to come into direct contact with professionals from the film industry. The _Enfants Terribles_ section presents the premiere screening of more than a dozen superbly creative and dynamic feature films; award-winning films in festivals such as Sundance, Cannes and Berlin. The film deal with sensitive, controversial issues such as immigration, classroom violence, family relationships, juvenile delinquency, music and the powerful and ever-growing world of street culture. Among other titles, this series will feature the screening of the Sundance Festival award winning comedy _Unmade Bed_, directed by Alexis dos Santos and starring Fernando Tielve (_El Enternado_), _Polytechique_ by Denis Villeneuve (Cannes 2009), or _My Suicide_ by David Lee Millar (awarded in Berlin 2009). All the films in this series will be screened with the original soundtrack, subtitled or with simultaneous translation. In addition, the Laboral grounds will feature special activities such as: * Filmmaking workshops in collaboration with Espacio de Creación y Didáctica (Creation and Learning Space). This is a creative activity in which, after viewing a film, the participants learn through playing with images, texts documents and games, always keeping in mind the plot, characters and narrative language of the film. * Round table meetings with directors in which questions and suggestions are encouraged to develop communication between the director of the film and the spectators. * Cinematographic Professional Guidance. This activity, aimed at secondary school students, is a professional career orientation programme developed within the framework of the festival with the collaboration of the Ciudad Tecnológica Valnalón.
